Namib

This collection of images is a combination of wildlife and landscapes from my twelve day adventure through Namibia in December 2019. The colour contrasts of the harsh yet otherworldly landscape, combined with the intensely beautiful hues of sun-up and sundown created scenes that will be etched in my memory forever. The moments I witnessed and captured in Namibia were truly unparalleled, and probably the most effective way for me to describe it would be that it felt as though I was in another world.

The title of my collection 'Namib' comes from Khoekhoegowab origin and translates to 'vast place', something that I believe epitomises Namibia and is also symbolic of the endless photographic opportunities and compositions in such an ethereal country.
